|
Ch. KALINKA'S GROOSHA IZ TEREMKA
|
YAKUT MARK MONARCH
|
It is a pleasure to announce, that our new litter has arrived on June 10, 2008.
There are 6 girls and 4 boys, 10 in total and all doing just great.
Sired by Yakut Mark Monarch, who comes out of very unique bloodlines of original Kalinka’s foundation stock with proven working abilities. Yakut is heavy built, large male with very calm, stable temperament.
Dam is Kalinka’s Groosha Iz Teremka, one of the most spectacular show females in North America with outstanding movements. Groosha was the Best of Opposite on puppy sweepstake during 2nd BRT National Specialty. She has finished her Jn.Championship with Rare Breed Club of SE Ontario over one weekend, taking over much older dogs. Groosha is second in Top Ten Puppies in Working group and seventh in Top Ten Puppies in Club for 2007! Groosha is well-known for her activeness and self-confidence. Although, she loves her entire family and fellow canines, she is alert to strangers.
Groosha’s parents were imported to Canada for the breeding purpose. Her mother came from Siberia, out of very famous kennel, which dogs actually working in police force with their owners on daily base.
Puppies are very active and strong. They have nice body structure and big, heavy heads.
Puppies are available for companion purpose, and only a few may be released for show/breeding to selected homes.

We would like to take time and do a little up-date on our new litter. On Sunday, June 29, 2008 Groosha's puppies turned 3 weeks old! They all are doing great, grow fast and healthy. A few days ago they opened their eyes and began to walk. Groosha still nurses them as a primary feeding, however I have introduced them to lean ground beef and porridge from a bowl. Puppies are getting more active and playfull. They sleep less and more longer stay a wake. They start to touch each other with their paws and slightly bite the ears and necks.
It is a real pleasure to watch them!

Puppies are growing and time from time we have the visitors to meet our big dogs and say hello to little ones.
The new owners of our red boy named Roman come to visit us time from time, as they live in Kingston, just couple blocks a way from us. They are so exited and happy, looking forward to take Roman home. We had happy opportunity to meet a whole family of Paul and Sara from both sides!
Here are Sara and Paul, visiting puppies at 6 weeks

And of couse, Roman recieving the special attantion

However they admire everyone as well

Time is passing by and puppies are getting bigger and stronger. They eat a dog food now with addition of cottage cheese, yogurt, ground beef or canned dog food. They have a very good appetite and enjoy their meals. Groosha still likes to visit them time from time and spend some time with them.
After heavy meal some of them getting very thursty...

Some - very energetic...

And some needs a nap...

And the rest of them continue to destroy me kitchen...

and pretend to be innesent!

And once againg we came to the time then little ones are ready to go home.
It is very exting and sad at the same time... Exting, because evry time we meet new great people, who wants to joy to our family and some of them became our very good freinds. Sad, because each puppy became a part of our family and we pray and hope they we be happy in their new big lifes.
And here we are, our first bird at this time was our red boy Roman, who lackly stays here in Kingston and we will keep close touch with him and his new mom and dad!

Paul and Sara were very happy and exited finaly to take Roman home!
Yesterday, we heard from them by e-mail:
Hi Lana,
Thanks for the photo's they are great! Roman is sleeping at my feet as we speak, it is hard to believe that I finally have the dog I have always wanted since I was a young girl. Paul and I could not ask for a better puppy! He is doing great so far, lets us know when he needs to go outside, is curious about the bunny but is respecting her space, he is eating well and we already got him a small pool to help him with his desire to play with water!! I will email later this week with more stories.
Take care,
Sara

On Thursday, August 07, 2008 our little girl Kalinka's Ocharovanie Nochi Iz Teremka landed in St.Jonh, NL airport.

Hi Lana,
Our puppy has arrived. She is exactly what we thought she would be
and she is doing very well. She was a little nervous when she first
got off the plane but was playing around whithin 5 minutes. She is
full of hugs and kisses and she is getting plenty from David and
me. Here are some pictures.
We have named her "Mishka" - a Russian name that means little bear.
April and David
THANK YOU!!

Hi Lana,
We are delighted and completely in love with our little Mishka.
She is definitely the joy in our lives. She is everything you said
she would be and we are very happy. Meeting her father would be
wonderful and we would definitely be interested.
Mishka was in to see the veterinarian yesterday and she was very
healthy. She couldn't get over how beautiful our little girl was.
She was given a full checkup and also the vaccination for
Bordetella (which is common here in Newfoundland). We have an
appointment made for two weeks for her next booster. All is going
well. David is so proud of her. She is doing well with her Kennel
training and we can tell that she was handled very well before she
arrived.
Thank you Lana. We will stay in touch and let you know her
progress. (She has already gained 2.3 pounds).

And a new photo:
Hi Lana,
All is going well with our little pink girl Mishka. We took her
blueberry picking this past weekend and she had a wonderful time
making her way through the bushes. Attached is a picture. She is
growing very quickly and is very healthy as you can see from the
photo.

Our blue boy, Kalinka's Ostrui Sjuzhet Iz Teremka, nickname Baloo, landed in Bozeman, MT on Sept.19, 2008.
It took both of us Jim and me a couple weeks of hard work to put this trip together, to make sure it will be the easiest way for little Baloo. We drove to Syracuse airport to ship Baloo out of there, so Jim can pick him up in Bozeman. And finaly, Baloo is on plane on his way to new home. This was las e-mail from Jim, before he got a puppy:
Thanks Lana. I will leave for airport now, I have water, wet towels,
new leash....will call at 11:15 my time 1:15 your time.
We both prey, the trip would go well. And here we are, Ballo is finaly on hard ground after 8 houes for traveling! Here are some photos, sent to us by Baloo's new daddy Jim.

Jim called us right after he got Baloo from crate, let us know, everything was fine. And next morning we got the first e-mail:
Lana,
Baloo is awesome, such a good puppy. No crying, slept through the
night. Very well behaved.
Jim
Next day was very busy for little Baloo, he was introduced to Jim's family, and wcich was more important to his beautiful Granddaughters.

Well, Jim, looking forward for more nice photos of you, guys!
