Black Russian Terrier Specialty Show in Lexington Kentucky

For Black Russian Terrier enthusiasts, the Lexington Kennel Club Inc, Northern Kentucky Club Inc and the Mid-Kentucky Kennel Club will be holding an All Breed Dog Show, Obedience Trial and Rally Trial beginning Thursday, September 2nd 2010 and ending Monday, September 6th 2010.

1st CKC BRTCC National Specialty in Woodstock, 10-11 July 2010

1st BRT National Specialty Show on Saturday, July 10, 2010 took place in Woodstock, ON 

Judge: Mr. Edgar Bajona

There were 11 black Russian terriers taking a participation in show.

Most of the major Kennel Clubs have have grouped the Black Russian Terrier as a working dog. One has to remember that Black Russian Terrier was bred to be a guard dog to protect the military bases and secret locations in Russia.In some countries, he is used as a police dog and since he is a highly sophisticated intelligent dog, it makes him an excellent student at Obedience Trials and Carting.
